Vineyard Series Willowlake Pinot Noir

Oakridge Vineyard Series Willowlake Pinot Noir is sourced from the red volcanic soils of the Willowlake Vineyard at Gladysdale in the Yarra Valley. Planted in the early 1980s it is one of the oldest in the Yarra Valley.

The fruit is handpicked, destemmed and fermented as whole berries in open tanks. In some vintages, there is some whole bunch inclusion. After two weeks, the wine is put to French oak barrels to mature for 10 months.

Vibrant crimson, Oakridge Vineyard Series Willowlake Pinot Noir has fresh, spicy red fruit flavours, silky tannins and a fine acid line. Cellaring potential is seven years.
